1. Acceptance of the terms
By accessing and using Walpli (hereinafter, “the service”), you accept these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you act on behalf of an organization, you declare that you have the authority to bind it.
These terms comply with applicable international standards, including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), Chile's Law 19.628 on the Protection of Privacy, and Law 19.628 on the Protection of Consumer Rights.
2. Description of the service
Walpli is a personal finance web and mobile application that allows you to:
- Record income and expenses manually or through AI.
- Create and manage virtual financial accounts.
- Organize transactions by categories and subcategories.
- Create and monitor budgets.
- Set up automatic recurring payments.
- Manage debts and pending payments.
- Import transactions from CSV or Excel files.
- View financial statistics and charts.
- Link Telegram (@walplibot) to record transactions via chat with text, audio, or image.
Important: Walpli is not:
- A banking institution.
- A professional financial advisory service.
- An investment or trading service.
- A payment issuing or processing entity.
The financial information recorded is the user's sole responsibility and should not be interpreted as professional advice.
3. Registration and user account
To use Walpli you must:
- Be at least 13 years old.
- Provide a valid email.
- Keep your password confidential.
- Immediately report any unauthorized use.
You are responsible for all activity carried out from your account. Walpli may request additional verification in cases of suspicious use.
4. Plans, pricing, and billing
Free plan: includes essential features at no cost. No credit card required.
Pro plan: offers all features, including higher limits on AI, voice, reserve accounts, and accounts. It will be billed monthly or annually depending on the option chosen.
Walpli may modify prices, features, or plan structure at any time, providing at least 30 days' notice for active subscriptions.
5. Acceptable use and user conduct
The user agrees to:
- Not use the service for illegal activities.
- Not attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
- Not introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code.
- Not compromise systems or servers.
- Not use the Telegram bot to send illegal content or spam.
- Not create multiple accounts to evade system limits.
- Not reverse engineer the system.
Non-compliance may result in suspension or deletion of the account.
6. Intellectual property
The Walpli brand, its design, architecture, and content are the exclusive property of the service owner. Reproduction or exploitation without express written authorization is prohibited.
7. User content and limited license
Walpli retains a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to:
- Store your content.
- Process it according to the service's features.
- Display it within the service.
The user may export their CSVs or delete them at any time.
8. Third-party integrations
Financial data (processed with AI) depends on:
- OpenAI (AI infrastructure)
- Supabase (DB)
- Telegram Bot API
The use of these integrations implies acceptance of the respective terms of service. Walpli assumes no responsibility for the availability or decisions of external services.
9. Use of artificial intelligence
When you use the bot:
- Messages are interpreted with OpenAI's GPT-4o.
- The AI may make mistakes.
- Be aware of the limit: "spent 5 bucks at the store", the recorded figure of $5.00 USD is an interpretation.
It is your responsibility to review and correct transactions; when in doubt, Walpli does not guarantee accuracy in the automatic interpretation.
10. Limitation of liability
Walpli will not be responsible for:
- Financial losses resulting from the use of the app.
- Financial decisions made using the app.
- Data loss caused by force majeure.
- Failures in third-party services.
- Typographical errors manually entered by the user.
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user during the last 12 months, if any.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability.
- The complete absence of errors.
- That the service will meet the user's specific expectations.
12. Indemnification
The user agrees to indemnify Walpli and hold it harmless from claims, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Misuse of the service.
- Violation of these Terms.
- Infringement of third-party rights.
- Illegal activities carried out through the platform.
13. Suspension and termination
Walpli may suspend or cancel accounts that:
- Breach these Terms.
- Pose security risks.
- Have active, unresolved disputes.
The user also has the right to cancel their account at any time, without penalties.
14. Privacy
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, available at walpli.com/privacidad.
15. Availability and maintenance
Walpli may:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance.
- Temporarily suspend the service.
- Update features.
Permanent availability is not guaranteed.
16. Modifications to the terms
Walpli may modify these terms at any time. Modifications will be published on walpli.com and will indicate the date of update. Continued use implies acceptance of the changes.
17. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of civil jurisdiction in Chile, without prejudice to consumer rights applicable internationally where appropriate.
18. Severability
If any clause is declared invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and Walpli regarding the use of the service.
